Their collaboration has been essential in making this new plant a reality\u2014one that will place C\u00f3rdoba at the forefront of sustainable copper product manufacturing worldwide. These products are key to the energy transition and digitalisation, in strategic industrial sectors such as automotive, transport and the electrical industry,\u201d said D\u00e1maso Quintana, Executive Chairman of the Cunext Group.<\/p><p data-start=\"1791\" data-end=\"2093\">\u201cAt a crucial time for Europe and Spain, our project will contribute to ensuring a secure, resilient and sustainable supply of copper, promoting efficiency across the entire value chain. Moreover, it does so sustainably and with the lowest carbon footprint in the entire sector,\u201d added D\u00e1maso Quintana.<\/p><p data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2421\">For his part, the Mayor of C\u00f3rdoba, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Bellido, stated that the granting of this licence forms part of the strategic approach set by the municipal government to promote \u201cthe reindustrialisation of C\u00f3rdoba based on sustainable growth and development, led by projects such as this green copper plant promoted by Cunext.\u201d<\/p><p data-start=\"2423\" data-end=\"2896\">In this regard, Bellido highlighted \u201cthe tremendous importance of this project for the future development of C\u00f3rdoba, as we are talking not only about a \u20ac200 million investment by the Cunext Group in this plant and the creation of 80 direct jobs in our city, but also about positioning C\u00f3rdoba as a global benchmark in promoting a new, greener and more sustainable industrial model, based on cutting-edge innovation and technological processes at an international level.\u201d<\/p><p data-start=\"2898\" data-end=\"3313\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The Mayor also emphasised \u201cthe speed of administrative procedures and the efficiency of the technical staff of the Municipal Department of Urban Planning in advancing, in record time, a project of this scale and importance for C\u00f3rdoba.
